Boot fit clarification

Hey I am having some trouble getting me heel to fit solidly in my boots and I have seen around new schoolers that there are the plastic inserts for the heel of the boot. Could someone explain this to me and where I could find them.

Your local boot-fitter will have tons of options that will help secure your heel. L-shaped or C-shaped pieces of foam placed around the ankle area of your liner will help a lot. But, it is best to have a competent boot-fitter do this and assess why you are having heel lift- it is not always as obvious as one may think...
