Boot bang

So i rode with Solomon Koas SPK's last year. Now I didnt really do anything other than park and groomers in these boots but ran into one major annnoying problem. When i would come down on a landing or go from groomed snow to slush my entire foot would slide up in the boot and hit the end. Now i tried tightning the buckles (both of them) and the power strap but still ran into the same problem. Now if theres something i can do to fix this i'd love to know about it, but if this is a reacurring problem i was thinking about getting a pair of full tilt hotdoggers. Any advice?

wow your gonna get the same response from everyone on NS and maybe even get some hate for bringing this up. obviously everyone is going to say "bootfitter" be careful though the past two years bootfitters have fitted me with the wrong boot size. (i think they were boarders not skiers) but anyway this year ive took the responsibility to my self and found the dimensions of the boots i wanted measured my foot asked NS how much they pack out and made a decision on what size boots to get. i guessed 28's and im sure i guessed right. the boot should fit snug when you try it on, but not too tight. and thats how i based my purchase on knowledge i already had.

Alright. Now as to the first response; I usually wear size 13 shoes and these SPK's were the only ones at the local shop that actually fit my foot. To give a decent comparison the other things i tried actually made my foot bleed from just trying to get them on..... deathtraps.......

you didnt consider them packing out did you? haha. do you have a skinny, average, or wide foot?
