Booster Straps

I used to when I had 1080s that didn't fit me that well. It helped.

However, the key is to get them before the shinbang starts, cuz once it begins, you're fucked.

Well see I never get shin bang, I have lange 120 boots that fit me prettty much awesome. I have heard that it just gives you more control or better feel of your skis? Is that true or is it mainly for the shin bang factor?

I personally don't think they do a whole lot other than help shin bang.

Also, if you are in 120s, the booster straps aren't going to do much in terms of stiffening up the top of your boot.

It's only $30, try 'em and see.

Just use the stock strap under the shell as in between the shell and the liner. Does the same thing as the booster stap and works wonders and best of all its free

I dont know if this little trick works on lange but it works perfect on my solly pro models

^completely wrong. unless you have a nice boot with a built in booster style power strap to begin with. it's elastic in it that allows flex instead of a stock strap with no give to it.

I just ordered my 3-ply should be here by tomorrow. Is there anything I need to know in terms of setting them up correctly?

read the thread called "instaling booster straps" or something like that. it's a few threads down.

^ya i get proforms too...but i wouldnt even know what company makes them. Is the company called booster strap or is it something bigger..

Hey, i got the original straps on my atomics. But booster's are stretchy right? What is the difference between stretch and no stretch?

the strech allows you to tighten them against your shins. they give when you flex forward, a stock strap(on most boots) does not. you gain controll from the extra tightness and it doesn't comprimise comfort. i would reccomend them for sure.
