ive only heard about them for racing. i dont see how you would really need that extra support for jibbing

I use them and they've fixed a lot of my shin-bang problems, and quick carving feels better since I've started using them. If your boots fit perfectly then you won't notice too much difference probably, but if you get sore shins then definately check them out.

thw wil pretty much help in any situation, all it is is a power strap (strap above your top buckle) that will stretch. YOu can get it ver tight, and when you will usally have shin bang, the stretchyness will 'catch' you insted of making your shin bang up agenst the front of your boot.

They're really to get forward lean in your boots for racing, but I bet they would help with shin bang.

The booster strap is also worn behind the plastic cuff like this:

and not over the shell like a standard power strap.

If you're suffering from shin bang, try tightening your regular strap just around the liner, behind the plastic cuff. This will give you a much tighter fit between your shin and liner tongue (a major cause of shin bang). The buckles adequately keep the shell close to the liner.

i definately recommend them. they totally help shinbang in any situation. wouldnt you rather come out 50 bucks than have shinbang all season?

Yeah - before I got my Boosters I did my regular strap up under the plastic and that helped get it more snug. But once I got the Boosters it was so much better. I need to get them rivited to my boots for next seson though - just now they aree between the spoiler and shell at the back.

They are worth buying. Nothing will eliminate shin bang ~ if you land super back seat your gonna get it no matter what. However these help prevent it from normal stresses. What I noticed even more than that was the increase in control. It was like light and day as far as having greatly increased turn response.
