Interesting, although you have to realize that such a small percentage of our population can actually ride a skateboard properly that it unrealistic to call it "The Vehicle of the Future." I feel like this is just gonna be something long boarders use to go up hills with. Which is awesome on its own.

Good point, but Ive been waiting for something like this in a practical size and design forever, and this is the first company to ever do that. My dream has always been to use something like this to ride uphill and charge the batteries on the way down.

Cool idea but i wont ever buy one. Longboards cost what, 200-300 bucks? Now strap a motor to it. Would feel like a right twat riding one of those things

holy shit i was just thinking of this earlier riding to class on my longboard! all the pathways at my school are brick so you cant really cruise too far even on flat ground. something like this would mean i would never have take a foot off the entire ride. it looks like the executed it really well. count me in

I can see how this would be a really cool toy, but to call it an electric vehicle is a bit crazy. Do they expect to see business men in suits pulling up on a skateboard? The odd person might, but I won't be investing.

would probably be fun to dick around on, but just buy a damn bike.

they are targeting a market too small (those that still ride skateboards).

get me a bike that stores energy from peddling and then allows me to flip a switch to expend that energy when i need it.

looks really sick, but i just skate once i get off the subway anyways, dont know why id need a motor unless i was fat or a pussy

They already have this. A friend of mine has one, but it has monster tires and suspension on it- we use it on the ski hill in the summer for shits and... well, more shits. People get f'd up on it at full speed. Every. Damn. Time. lol...

This one does look lighter though.

i dont think thats going to pick up. my car can carry things in the trunk and more then one person, also it rains and snows and i can walk 1 mile.

hover boards exist now....sorta. check out this thing. it's called a flyboard. i was at the world championship show ski tournament this last weekend and they were here demoing it between competitors...

I would be so confused if I saw somebody cruising uphill on a longboard. Until now, now I realize these exist.
