I was reading an article on the Bode Miller Vs. Head skis lawsuit and found out about bomber skis, a company located on 5th Ave. in NYC co-founded by Bode Miller. At first glance they seem like any other ski, except for the price. The "luxury skis" run around $1000 for a kids all mt. and one model is $4,750 USD.

Snobby bitches. I'm not one to praise LINE skis... but their skis are probably better than this "bomber" shit.
 
Sounds like a ripoff to me. Charging an extra $1900 because they are "artisan" and "handcrafted". I'm all for supporting smaller companies but this sounds like a hustle for rich bitches whose dads have 5 mil.

I could make these in my garage, guaranteed the cost of materials is about $130 domestically, maybe $100 in europe. Sick graphics guys.

That is by far the most standard park ski i have ever seen.

If they are going to charge out the fucking ass for a ski, they could at least make it interesting.
 
I'm curious to know how much bomber are paying Bode Miller, must be a rather large sum for him to take head to Court.
 
I think i've seen racer kids demo those at mhssc.

i never knew they were that expensive though.

Read the article, Bode is one of the owners. He is not trying to make money by being sponsored, he is trying to make money by selling skis. There is now way the rest of the investors in Bomber will let him race on head skis. He along with some rich NY investors started to company to promote them as Bode's ski company. Bode is far more famous in Europe than in America that the vast amount of his wealth was made in Europe. Euro snobs will love to by his Park Avenue Skis.

lol i figured you were more up to date than that. those are HEAD skis and never sold in store. the 2017 blizzard piste skis are based on the quattro series and are actually sold to public
