First big college football game of the year, who do you like to win it? I'm obviously partial with BSU but it's going to be an awesome game regardless if you like either team, I'd suggest tuning in tonight if you're looking for some great football.

I don't want Boise to win but I want them to win because thy are a fellow WAC team. How about the Fresno State/Cincy game? We applied some Bulldog ass-whooping.

ehh. im a utah fan as well but ill root for other BCS busters as long as it isnt BYU.well as utah fans we wont have to worry about that after this season any ways.

that said i want Boise to win. run the table go to the NGC and see what happens when they play a team like Ohio State/Bama/okalhoma ect.

Have you ever been to a Boise State Mens Basketball game, or a BSU Tennis Game, or any other sport besides football?

It's not that they are BSU fans it just they are all on footballs dick and not any of the other sports.

It's the same with my highschool, everybody loves the fucking football team and shafts everybody else.

They only like it cause they are successful in it, that's kinda the point...

I dislike the football program cause that's what everyone only cares about, I bet most of the BSU football fans don't give a shit about the school or anybody besides the football team, granted that's what brings the school money that they put to academics and other programs but my point still stands.

i feel you and i would like nothing more to see the utes in another BCS game like 2008 or 2004. but with boise being #3 in the preseason rankings. them beating VT tonight and then running the table could put them in the NCG. which is a good and bad thing. say they go beat bama for instance. this would pretty much legitimize them and really in turn even more legitimize Utahs bowl wins.

as far as the utes go. i live on the east coast now and only get to see nationally televised games but goddamn i dont care if they lose 8 games this season as long as they beat the shit out of Notre Dame in south bend.
 
I'm actually an oregon fan before bsu, i was decked out in green and yellow for both the bsu vs. uo games, i don't even go to boise state i just think it's good for the city of boise, quit being an arrogant little fuck and learn to appreciate your surroundings. It's a hell of a lot cooler to have a #3 ranked team then a fucking 50 something ranked team. I'm not even going to argue this anymore seeing as how you probably don't even watch football.

I'm a big football fan, BSU is cool...they def do not suck and anyone who thinks that is pretty fucking retarded because they have won every game in the past like 3 seasons and they won the fiesta bowl 2 times in the last 4 years....but ANYWAYS, Yeah, a lot of BSU fans are rednecks but its fucking Idaho, and its the only major sports team in this fucking state, so its obvious. In CA we have like 8 major college teams and 4 major NFL teams so its different here when ALL IDAHO HAS IS BSU, no shit theres gonna be a ton of fans from all walks of life.

Yeee, go BSU, even tho I'm a CAL (and pac 10) fan but I still love watching football and I hope its a good game....

And yeah, I personally know like 3 kids who posted in this thread and all you guys need to chill out, drink a beer, smoke a joint, or do something to calm your nerves because getting in arguments over football on NS is prettttttty low.

 
Yeah, as do I. But I'm also from what many Idahoians would call "liberal, gay fucking hippie faggot town" San Francisco. I grew up practially in a different fucking world than most Idaho kids, but I still respect that difference. And now that I've lived in Idaho for 3 years I have just come to laugh at all the fucking ignorant and stupid people I have met..

But you see, I have a sense or humor and an idea of how this world works....when are people gonna stop being so easy to categorize? everyone is so fucking predictable these days...

 
yeah i know this. but the problem is that the general college football fan does not give much credence to that win or other non bcs conference teams winning bcs bowl games. IE utah in the 2008 sugar bowl as well.they say that Alabama/oklahoma doesnt care and "plays down" to the competition in a basicaly meaningless bowl game.

but say Boise does in fact get to the NCG this year, which is possible and the chances have never been greater. There opponent who has played a much harder schedule(there is really no denying this) will play soft.

it could really go to ways. if they do go to and win the NCG then they will legitamize this almost 10 year run they have been on. if they go in there and lose by 14 + points, they will pretty much never be taken seriously again. basically the position boise is in is a curse and a blessing.

Yeah, BSU is in the fucking WAC = WACK but thats not their fault...and thats why they are in the Mountain West next season....It's not their fault they have a great coach, amazing scouting and fucking absolutely destroy everyone they play....

But yeah, play soft in a bowl game? hahahahahahahahahahahaha
 
i dont think oklahoma played a soft game, i think Boise was the better team. what im saying is that other people think that. and what i am saying that its time for boise to prove them wrong because no one in their right mind will think that a team is "playing down" to the competition.

and as a Utah fan. as great as the 2008 sugar bowl win was, it was obivious the Alabama did not want to be their at all.

and there is a big fucking difference between playing in the fiesta bowl and the NCG.

 
Hhaha, I really don't give a fuck about Boise State, Boise, or anything from this fucking state besides skiing in the mountains and enjoying the natures....besides that Idaho fucking sucks. But I do enjoy getting drunk with some friends and watching a pretty important game with a team that happens to be the school I go to. So if BSU loses = bad enviorment on campus, professors angry, people angry, lame parties but if BSU wins = happy campus, big parties, happy professors, happiness!!! You get my point haha?
