i just got accepted to boise st. its my second choice behind penn state (i live in PA), but i also got into U of wyoming. im trying to get a feel for how good the skiing is near boise (proximity to mountains, quality of mountains, etc), so for anyone who goes there, what can you tell me?
feel free to add anything else about the campus. i probably wont have a chance to visit

you would have bogus basin about 45 mins away, tamarack about 2.5 hours away and brundage about 3 hours

campus looks poopy. i wouldnt go there. bogus is 45min away, bad park, little snow.
tammy 2 hrs away, best park/pipe, may not be open in the future. good snowfall.
brundage about 2-2.5, no park, best snow. rocks
sun valley, 3hrs away, fucking expensive, pipe, ice, rich people

campus is alright. if your into powder, then brundage and tamarack have some sick ass terrain. tamarack has a sick park, but theyre bankrupt and might close sometime, bogus is close with night skiing, its alright, parks ok, terrains pretty boring

well if you into camping and fishing and stuff like that. boise a hella fun place to be but if you like big cities, and shit like that, its pretty damn borring

no shit Kyle... what long finger nailed Paris Hilton lookin ass is gonna come to Boise and have fun hiking? i know for a fact theres a shit load of shit to do, not just in Boise, but in Meridian, Eagle, etc.

plus, NEGRO you live in Meridian... not The BO
