i live in michigan, and went there and it was awesome. i must have been there only a few weeks before meatheads. i have a sweatshirt from there!
 
It's in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Average snowfall of like 270 inches. It's all-natural. no grooming, mostly glades with chutes and cliffs and shit.

Fucking gnar.
 
I was there two years ago and the place is really sick. 2 lifts if i can remember right and a bus that picks you up and drives you to the chairlift if you decide to ski away from it. They have a lot of fun terrain and it snows up there quite often. Sadly when me and my buddies went there was no fresh snow but it was still a fucking blast and am trying to get up there again this year.
 
We need to get one of the ski shops, preferably Les Moise out of Milwaukee to get a couch bus lined up for a weekend drive up there. We could sleep on the bus and stay in the hurts Saturday Night.

Been there twice and both times it was bluebird with 8 inches of fresh. It's legit! Make sure you know how to ski if you go. Great tree skiing.
 
i've been meaning to get up there one of these years, but 8 hours is too long a drive for a day trip. i need to find a way to stay overnight somewhere
 
i got a dvd in the mail from them and it lead me to believe there crazy party with lots of busty women there. oh and epic terrain. of course.
 
71 runs, 17 backcountry runs = 900 vertical feet of absolute gnar.

Crop out the trees and take out the underbrush and that looks like it could be a pillow line from BC.

Such an awesome place.
