Bogus really is expanding the park this year

they're gonna piss off a lot of people by turning shaker ridge into a park. i'm glad they're expanding the park, but i'm sure they could have found a better spot

seems kinda weird to me they would kinda cut off easy access to showcase and alpine and the backside cat track, but as long as its a better park idgaf

. Thats good now they have some funding to build a better park. But they still need people who can competently groom and maintain the features. And nature needs to be generous.

anyone know if bogus lets people volunteer to help groom the park? i'd do it on any non-pow day for an hour or so, even if i wasn't getting a pass or anything like that. honestly half the time they don't need someone "competent", they just need someone doing fucking something

it helps if everyone just flow through the park an not stopping to wait for there friends after every feature. I ride with my homies and we don't stop cause i trust they aren't going to demolish my shit if i eat it. Then you just get stanky looking trains lapping through.

and thats why brundage's park is always fun. hopefully bogus will start putting shit in a line rather than everything parallel to each other. then kids'll have to learn not to stop

I've always wanted to do this as well.

I volunteered with team shred last year and had to fill out some paper work so I would assume it would be a similar process. From talking with the guys on the ski team the park manager isn't the most cooperative guy but that's just one side of the story.

Most likely having a bunch of volunteers running around is something they don't want to deal with, but I'm still a huge proponent of doing it!

The park at Bogus last year was a joke but with new management and Pat Miller putting some seance into Steve Shakes dumb ass head its gonna be an amazing park this year my friend helped them design it looks amazing
