Body Armor

So one of the kids i have skied with from Switzerland always wore body

armor and said that most of his friends at home did too. Has this just

not really caught on in the US yet or do i just not know it? it seems

like alot of the pros take some nasty falls and are totally fine. What

are some good recommendations?
