im trying to finish up a report and if anybody has any info on the meanings behind 'Blowin In the Wind' i could really use it right now

dude - can't you figure that out yourself?

I mean that's a pretty straightforward song. Just think about it for a little while. Or do you have to have someone spell everything out for you? jeesh.

Bob Dylans a crackhead and his songs don't have meanings??? ARE YOU A FUCKING MORON! Bob dylans songs have more meaning than most music out there i'll tell you that, and that is why he is well known....for the meanings in his songs!

And seriously, if you can't figure out what blowing in the wind means...you need to think.

Basically, what i get out of it, different people say different things...

How many times will horrible things keep happening over and over again before someone realizes that whatever the horrible thing is needs to stop.

Dylan gives many examples, like how many times must the cannonballs fly before they are forever banned...and the blowing in the wind part means that the answer is out there somewhere...but no one has been able to find it.

Me: Yeah, all the hicks and stuff in are school make in the hallway its gross.

Sisters bf: Well, they don't care. Their not leaving town, their just like 'Fuck it.'

Sister: Yeah, thats how i feel about law school right now, 'Fuck it, make out in the hallway.'

yeah i got my answer and its all set. what i ment was what where your opinions about the song. anyway this post is closed unless you wanta start talking about dylan some more.

oh word...bob dylan is the man

$$$$$$The South Will Rise Again$$$$$$

I killed your cat, you druggy bitch!! I thought it would bring closure to our relationship!!!- Boondock Saints

Lagwagon - you are a failure...

to the person who said his songs have no meaning:

kindly, kick yourself in the nuts.

Bob dylan is one of the greatest songwriters, ever. Even if you aren't into his music, read his lyrics and you can't deny that.

If you have some time to waste, read DOWN THE HIGHWAY: THE LIFE AND TIMES OF BOB DYLAN or something like that. it is a newer biography with lots of good information. it does also mention blowing in the wind.
