Board companies making skis

Well everybody is all pumped about lib tech making skis, but think about it this way. Look at the way their called...narrow ass snowboards, they woun't even own up to making skis. No offence....but i don't want to buy anything from a company that is ashamed to make a product. I say fuck them all, and support our companies.
 
you can't just put an end to skiing's market growth. if board companies like lib tech are starting to make skis now then let it be. the whole idea of a business is to innovate and atract more sales. it makes sense from a business point of view. i don't think anyone can stop that.
 
I saw that more as a joke, and sticking to the companies roots.

As far as burton is concerned i would have to say Fuck burton in the ski market. The "other" kid who calls my sport gay cannot join.

Theoredically if Burton did start making snowboards I'm curious to the pros that would ride there skis. Because there would be a catch 22 ride for Burton and potencially make more money and have more oppourtunity but be looked down upon (and be labled a "sell out" by all of the dumbasses on this site), or stay with whoever you're sponsored/not sponsored by and make less with less opportunity.
