Here is an edit that I shot and created today. Definitely a fun day on the bikes.

Equipment used was a Panasonic HMC40 and a Panasonic Lumix GH13. No color correction at all except for what can be done in camera + a magic bullet vignette on the edges. Pretty happy with what can be done in camera.

pretty decent, but not color correcting bothered me. some of the shots didn't interlace well with others (white balances were different, saturation was high/low in some places, same with exposure). I think a good passthrough with color correcting would make it a lot better.

Thanks! Yeah, this was the first time shooting with both the HMC and the GH together. Didn't realize the Gh was on auto wb until close to the end of the day. Still trying to figure out how to get the two cameras close in color so when it comes to correction it will be much quicker/easier.

I'll probably mess around with color correction over the next few days. This was all shot from 9am-4pm. An hour drive home, and edited tonight.

As for some tips from others, what can I do about exposure/shutter speed for ever changing conditions (sun in and out, in and out) in order to keep the lighting similar.

i'd try to keep your shutter speed constant while letting your aperture vary as it gets darker/lighter. varying shutter speed is a lot more interruptive on a video than aperture

Pretty nice edit. Good shots for sure. One thing i'd add, if the overally setting of the edit doesnt really change, i would leave the song the same throughout. Song changes are kind of a pet peeve of mine, but its whatever. The second song was good, gave the edit a nice, relaxing mood to it.

Shoot on manual. If you shoot on automatic The lighting will adjust oddly instead of staying fixed.

Overall the flow was pretty good. Color correction could've made the edit much better. Pretty good quality too from the HMC
