Bmx thread

Bmxing is such a win win bc your arms get swole without having to be a chadsexual weightroom brostitute. If your arms are swole bc youve been tossing bmx then you are unfathomably based.

I use to ride quite a bit when I was younger. I bought(still have it) a 1989 Kuwahara freestyle magician ex with my cash I had saved up when I was a kid. Wore out a VHS of Rad the movie I watched it so much. I raced a few times but took to more of ramps and streets. Currently have a 10 year old Haro, been into skating more this last year though. My youngest son is getting his balance bike down now so time to start riding again.

I took the DK to the skatepark with my buddy a couple years ago. I'm fucking terrible on a bike now that I not only dont ride bmx, but also never really ride a bike. Was still fun though, would like to hit a park with more transition.

Really mostly rode dirt jumps.

Honestly fucking crazy where the sports at. There's still some street shit that i dont believe is possible.

Also follow some good dirt jumpers and crews on insta. Something about watching somebody flow threw a big trail never gets old.

that’s awesome, i raced bmx for around 5 years and have just started getting into park bmx since the track isn’t open. i actually know someone who was in the rad movie, he wasn’t a main character but he got to ride the track

I don't ride BMX, but I've got tons of inventory on SE and Redline. People have been calling from all over the country looking for SE bikes. My body can't handle riding rigid frames.

Are SE BMX bikes not absolute dogshit? Because I had a SE Lager fixed gear and it was so fucking harsh and literally weighed as much as my full suspension mountain bike with heavy tires and inserts.

It's this. Amd people who want cruiser BMX bikes. I didn't choose to stock them. The owner sold the crap out of them in his old shop in LA, and he's got a following.

Anybody ever have a bike woth a double frame, or whatever you call it when it branches out by the seat post.

My first bmx was a shitty huffy. Nothing like riding up a hill and doing framestands the whole way down.

Not the coolest but feels great and when you're 11 might actually be the coolest.

I wonder if he is talking about the PK Quadangle?

A good friend of mine was on SE in the 80's and traveled to a lot of demo's.

I had a sick redline when I was a kid. Rode the absolute piss out of it and was fortunate enough to have a bmx track near where I lived. By the time I got a license we had moved away and there wasn't any place near to ride close, so I sold it to buy car parts or something, idk. Wish I hadn't.

I low key want a dj bike to jib around town and relive the bmx glory days. Sounds like a blasty blast

Bringing this thread back, have been riding for a month and having a blast hopping off curbs and shit

I had a Fitbikeco. Trail 20 I bought used of Craigslist to try to train my dog to run with a bike. It was a super fun bike but the training did not go well so I gave the bike to my buddy.

Bmx bikes are awesome. I had a Diamond Back Viper as a kid and a GT, I got it used may have been a mach one but I'm not sure...a quick Google image search did not help but I'm working with 30 year old memories and bikes.
