BMX - NW Washington

Anyone in the Washington forum know of sick skateparks that allow bikes, or even local trails that are sweet to ride (within a couple of hours of Seattle)???

My boyfriend and I are heading to Seattle next week to visit my sister and would love to check out the Washington BMX scene. We will have our bikes, and if there are any trails are also definitely willing to help dig / help out in any way we can while visiting.

If none of you guys ride BMX do you know anyone in the area who does?

Thanks a million!!!!

Green Lake has dirt jumps that are apparently super dialed. Otherwise all I know is mostly MTB stuff. Colonnade, Duthie Hill, etc. South Seatac if it even still exists.

The green lake jumps are pretty sweet if they are in good condition. Every now and then they get beat up by kids who decide they would be fun to run over on foot. There is also a skate park right next to the jumps that allows bikes. At least it doesn't say it doesn't allow them and I've only had a skater say something to me once. The park has a pretty sick bowl that can be fun. Last time I checked the dirt jumps at SST are still there. There is also some decent urban stuff if you're in to that and don't mind looking for it.

There's a "bmx" track next to the skate park in North Bend. I believe the skate park says no bikes, but there is rarely anyone there. There is also a small outdoor rock climbing feature in the same park.

Plenty of hiking and lake/river spots in the area too.
