BM /BW Closed....

i think they could be done for the season ...any ideas? ...they had a party at the bar last night usually reserved for the last day of the season .....was that a sign of our ohio season ?.....the snow was awesome spring snow..... and there twice a day grooming ..really helped ...

i really hope not! although this weekend isn't looking too promising. maybe if they have enough snow(which they very well should) maybe if theres some sun they'll open back up some time next week and close for good next weekend. i hope they open back up i still wanna ski!!!

Get them some downhill bikes and we can start riding Mohican Wilderness in a few weeks

Rumor has it there will be a end of season event when the weather permits (won't be this weekend).

Great season by all accounts!

Very sad news. I was so pissed to hear this haha cause i'm devastated i couldn't even reach 50 days on snow for the season, thur/fri/sat/sun would have made it 50.....46 is such a lonely number...

Maggy just got accepted to University of Utah and we may be coming that way.

Gerry and Freddy wants to get back into Motocross and that would axe any plans of downhill bikes or whitewater kayaks.

BMBW may be done, but in my book, we still got over a month left if we travel which we always do. We have passes to Summit County, comps in Vermont and Michigan, PFC and Mash Potato Fest. Lots of options, just gotta make some plans.

I would like to know how the FUCK mid-March days are considered fucking bonus days. BMBW clearly has the snow to give up "bonus days" all the way to April but we all know it won't happen. they only care about the easy money and as soon as ski school was done they were waiting for any oppourtunity to close.

i guess i'll have to head to other resorts but it's just frustrating. It's only March 11th.

my thoughts exactly. i ranted about 2 weeks ago on their fb page when i found brandywine was no longer open during the week

why wouldnt branywine stay open? shut down mills, the park has no potential. look how much effort and money was put into the brandywine park, especially with the new redbull cannon rail and all the new features that i never got to hit, and now it will only be used 10 more times this year. Give me a logical and justifiable explanation as to why brandywine is shutting down. I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say it's because ski clubs over, and you don't give a shit about season pass holders. As for me, i will officially never ski BMBW ever again, because i'm away on the weekends, and will be in CO next year. But i thought BMBW finally got legit as shit this year, but now you shut down the only park worthy of my $32 (compared to $25 at snowtrails) the week after a massive snowstorm.

THANKS BMBW!

Some good news and some bad news... This weekend is looking to be a bust at BMBW with the seriously warm temps and rain / t-storms (we are hoping we don't get much) Perhaps once this "unpleasant" weather system moves through after the weekend, we will have a shot at resuming operations at some point next week/next weekend for some "bonus days" to properly finish-out what has been an awesome 09/10 Season....stay tuned!!

They should take all of the booz from Brandywine bring it to Mills and hookup that huge speaker system again! That would rule

I'm sick of referring to the Ludwig's closing party from like 2001 as the coolest party at the Mills

i have no idea why they were closed wednesday or thursday it was super nice out no rain or high winds like they were calling for ... i know the weekend is supposedly a bust but could we have gotten a few more days in .....

Ernie,

I sure hope so! I think the bigger issue will be the cat track coverage. two thumbs up to them for making this happen... I drove by this morning and it was pretty beat.

Looking forward to some bumps, booz, and beats this Saturday!

im done skiing for the year. because im not going to go ski on this pathetic shit we have for a snow hill in the midwest

my last day of skiing in the 2009-2010 season was at Snowbird skiing motherfucking pow on March 6th.

No more michigan hills for me. its sad when people out west are like oh you are from michigan, dont you guys ski on old dumps?

cry about it a little more, i skied 48 days here and wouldnt trade it for much of anything, if you love skiing as much as i do you'll do it whenever, i always say i'd miss my grandmothers funeral for a day of skiing rain covered ice, in theory.

exactly. I live in Colorado now, but I came home and skiied plenty of shit snow in Ohio and wv this year. Its still skiing, and its still fucking awesome
