Well first of all the fucking video kept buffering for me. Very annoying start. Then I actually had to listen to that stupid song. I couldn't even count how many times they contradicted themselves.
 
Who the fuck cares about a song. I have never thought about anything regarding this song besides the fact that it is catchy.

I would consider myself a chivalrous and respectable guy. That being said, I don't think they'll ever find what they're looking for because I wouldn't even punch them in the chest if they were choking on a croissant. I feel like this is a consistent thing among any guy.

Ugh. THIS is sexist. While sometimes I'll care, there is very little caring in this situation but I DO just want to point out that attacking their appearance or ability to find a partner because you don't agree with their position on this video is exactly what sexism is. Thanks for relegating our opinions to our basest form (our sexuality).

It's funny how feminists argue that shit like this is sexist. As though a woman's choice of what to do with her own body will constantly be filtered through some sort of patriarchichal expectation. I've watched the video and all I saw we're a bunch of half naked girls dancing around, looking like they're having fun. If they weren't that's a different situation, but this is a MUSIC VIDEO. I just feel like I've seen so much worse - there are much bigger issues for us to concern ourselves with. (Abortion rights and equal pay, ahem, ahem)
 
There's a drastic difference between respecting yourself and not standing for bullshit and throwing your angst and frustration in people's faces. I said what I said about these absolute assholes because I wouldn't go near them because they're irritating pricks, not because they're feminists. They just use feminism as the catalyst to express their pure obnoxiousness to the world. They're going to die hopeless and alone because before a guy even gets a chance to show them that he's not a misogynist, respects women, and wouldn't even dream of asking them to do some of the things they claim all men do, she's already basically slapping him in the face and saying "fair warning, I'm a feminist and you're not allowed to do A, B, or C. Get used to it." At which point, any self-respecting MAN would say "fuck you very much" and not give her a second thought.

It's a two way street and you can't expect to be treated equally and respectfully when the method by which you demand this treatment is neither equal, nor respectful.

And yes, I completely agree with you. There are much more important and legitimate issues that these girls should be pointing their arguments against.

I to consider myself a respectable guy who treats not just women, but everyone well. I try to practice the golden rule as much as I can, unless someone is truly irritating. I would never go near a girl who thinks just be the fact that I have a penis I am a douchebag "bigot" who wants to objectify women and treat them like meat. I wouldn't even bother trying to be the guy who changes their mind, too much fucking work.

I think those women will end up with exactly what they hate. That is because that is the kind of man who will tolerate that shit. No "good guy" wants to be emasculated, humiliated, or be told that their dick is just replaceable by a dildo and they are not necessary. Fuck that.

Alright, I'll buy it. Fugly cunts was the wrong insult. It was just what came to my mind that expressed my irritation. I will retract that statement because in truth I wasn't making my judgement based on physical appearance at all, but it was merely a poorly placed insult.
 
the point of the original video is to call out girls for faking to be not interested when in reality they want to get nasty.

implying that they will get nasty.

@Spinoza, I agree, and yet ... disagree. I think that there is a very small amount of influence I would want a man to have when dictating what I can do with my body. Right now I kinda feel like more philosophical, legislative and moral power rests with men than women - not that it's not changing, I'm just not sure we're all the way there yet. Luckily I live in Canada, so there's no burning need in me to make right this injustice... but I think it merits noting.

I'm sorry, equality is good and all, but if all feminists are doing to try and reach that goal, is being loud and disruptive, I'm not going to hop on that train any time soon.
