Bluesfest!

yep it was super sick. i was knackered from a day of swimming so 15 minutes in the gnar crowd and i needed out, i thought i was going to die
 
yes! skrillex show was ridiculous.

so after all's said and done here's who I saw at the festival:

The Melvins - kinda washed up, nothing like they were

Fishbones - so much potential, weren't that tight.

Alan Doyle - anything Great Big Sea related is always amazing

Tiesto - only saw 20 minutes

Billy Bragg - awesome. sucks it was same time as Tiesto

Awolnation - missed Sail, the 4 songs I did see were surprising

Carley Rae Jepsen - I would

Dragonette - fun show

Paul Oakenfold - amazing DJ.

City and Colour - Alexisonfire was better..

Alice Cooper - I enjoyed it, he could do with new vocal chords

Mustard Pimp - great name, great DJ

Iron Maiden - It's Iron mutherfuckin Maiden

MSTRKRFT - amazing, sucks I only saw 25 minutes

Bad Religion - fuuuuuck yes!

Sam Roberts - 4th time seeing, Always amazing

The Sheepdogs - really really frikken good

John Mellencamp - saw a few song. meh.

Arty - saw 20 minutes. wish I saw more. great DJ

Hey Rosetta! - decent

Rude Boy - funky! small crowd, people missed out

Our Lady Peace - very fun

Young the Giant - great live performance

Blue Rodeo - 20 minutes of them, same as the other 5 times I've seen them

Monophonics - great!

Beirut - only saw a bit, alright

Pretty Lights - yup!

Skrillex - that hurt..

K'Naan - family friendly, and good!

The Trews - 30 minutes, decent

Metric - 4th time seeing, wasn't in the top 3 times. but still amazing.
