Blues Park as of right now...?

building tonight, it will be rad, hopefully the snow will start to fall again so we can get the big stuff built.

So, I went to Blue last Sunday which turned out to be easily the most epic snow conditions I have ever seen in Ontario. Rippin down the powder was blowing in to my lap, was so fucking sick.

Taking the lift overlooking the badlands, I was pretty disappointed with what I saw. Out of all the terrain the badlands has, maybe 40% of it was used. The rest of the park contained nothing. The features they had at the park were complete ass. No real big variation in rails or boxes. Badlands has nothing on MSLM's parks, and they still charge you $10. What a joke. At least the snow was amazing.

over the past week theyve done a pretty significant build, including s rail, s box, a quarter pipe to log stall thing, they took out the small jump on the skiers left beside the pipe and replaced it with a down rail and theres a wierd bank to rail which wasnt open yet but looks pretty sick. Theyve also winched the landing of the bottom jump and have been blowing mad snow over the last week, so hopefully theres another build in the books, just gotta be patient and hopefully shit will really start to come together.

i spoke to the park guys this morning there is a 4 jump line on the pro side as well as numerous rails and features... i'm sending in a short update today and am hoping that we will be able to get some good photos for a proper update next week (curse you flat light!!!)

Been at blue for 2 days now.

There is a lot of variety of rails (A LOT of small rails)

Only I booter with 2 Take offs

All in all, it's not as good as it used to be..

I'm not even bothering buyin a pass because of the pow that blue got.

I think MSLM has a better flow to the park then Blues

the park is kinda funn the rails are good to try stuff on because they are low but on wed there was soo much fresh snow it was amazing knee deep chea chea

sorry if u interpert my post the wrong way

I agree that there are 2 nice money booters at the bottem but the other 2 jumps before it didn;t look like they did before...

also, I just personally thought that MSLM has better flow

and since i only ski little old DAG, i never get to ski nice slopes and on the rare ocasion POW (which blue got on wednesday yeeee) so thats why I didn't buy a pass this year...

and i did like the nice variety of rails.. i didn't complain about it...

Yea, what Pat said. It's dope. In one line you can hit a medium sized rail, a huge up-flat or a large rainbow, and then into 2 large jumps. One of them being around 45-50 feet with mad kick. That's not a small line at all. And the flow is pretty epic, no speed checks between the 2 jumps.

i was there today, there is only 1 table with a very small kicker on one side and a pretty big kicker that has tons of pop on the other. the jump i must saw is built perfect as I cased once and knuckled a bit on the big kicker and it barely hurt. and when you did land on the landing it was veeerry smooth. definitley go to blue if you want one big, poppy jump.

although on the negative, blues rails were pretty underwhelming. the majority are really small and some are actually pretty sticky. go to louise for more jumps and better rails go to blue if you want one big nice jump
