mac miller is a fucking clown. lemme know when he's got a single song besides "poppy" that doesn't talk about weed, alcohol, or sluts.
 
i like all three of those things, however they're not a good thing to base an entire hip hop career on. it makes for boring, repetitive songs.
 
best day ever was the only halfway acceptable thing he put out. some songs off BDE were pretty good, but as a whole, his spitting is weak.
 
at his concert he said that he hears that all the time and "he smokes a lot of weed drinks a lot of alchohol and fucks a lot of girls" , plus hes still good enough that youve listened to enough to even know the song poppy. BOOM.
 
i've been to his shows, they're like ten bucks at colleges and there's a bunch of drunk sluts there. he takes about an hour and a half to get on stage, plays a 30 minute set, and then dips. i know the song poppy because i'm a big hip hop head and i listen to all kinds of shit. poppy isn't a bad song. mac miller is a bad rapper though. nobody who takes hip hop seriously wants to hear some kid brag about his life.

I knew i didnt like mac miller, but I didnt remember why, so i went to youtube and now it is perfectly clear that I hate him. Everything about what I just watched/listened to made me pissed off. He sounds like a shitty rapper from a suburban highschool.
 
It's got a new sound to it. Not sure how much I like it yet...we'll see if I can get accustomed to it or not.
 
K.I.D.S. and before was good. Blue Slide Park was not. The song "Missed Calls" was kinda nice, that's about it.

I've had a hard time getting into his stuff. It's like I want to like him but there was something missing so I stopped listening. then I heard smile back and decided to give him another chance. I've only listened to about 3/4 of BSP, but I think it's pretty good so far.
