Blue Mountians SNOW SCHOOL is set to open on the 18th... the hill usually opens a few days before.. but i do know that it hasnt been cold enough for them to be blowing snow....

Couple good friends, couple cold beers, couple HUGE puddles all equal a wicked night on the farm...

r u guys serious? shit...Coors Light was supposed to be subsidizing the price of lift tickets until December 5th ($12 tickets). guess that isn't gonna happen then...

i saw some snow yesterday here in toronto...just a light dusting that was real wet. but it gave me hope that maybe we'd be skiing sooner rather than later

i was there tonight for job training, they said they hope for decembre 4th, but thats absolute bullshit. im guessing like the 12 or 15.

arrrgh...it's going to take forever. I've been checking the websites and weather every day hoping for some good news. word is that it's snowing in Collingwood tonight (Thursday) and will also snow on Friday, Saturday, Monday, and next Thursday (Dec.2) the newsman said that there are snow squalls in the region so that's good news. also, with the exception of Saturday and Sunday, it looks like the temp. will be around 0 degrees for the entire week. any idea, guys, as to when they'll start turning on the guns? but Dec. 5 sounds pretty good...i'll be hoping lol. keep the updates coming...i see the beginning of the ski season coming...FINALLY!

there is still snow on the hills from about friday november 26. its getting cold and the ground is freezing which means that blue will start to blow some snow when it gets real cold.

hahah, people are forgetting that you need snow and cold in order to open a hill. Just because it is december, doesnt mean they will magically open. Look outside and you'll be able to figure out when things will happen.

I won't be able to make it, but for those in the region, Mount St. Louis Moonstone is open today (December 4, 2004) with 2 slopes and 1 lift. $25 for a lift ticket...ugh...for 2 slopes?!?!

I was at Blue yesterday - there is an ok amount of snow on the ground, but as I was leaving the snow guns were firing up all over the hill!

(though its supposed to get really warm after the weekend..)
