Blue House Antics

I am thinking about getting some blue house antics next year. What do you guys think of them?

I have heard they are a really fun ski.

Lastly, how do they compare to the old line anthems? (the ones with like the purple lightening)

Note: My mountain gets about 1 pow day a year and i ski 75%park and 25% groomers.

I just got a pair at the beginning of the season. I really like them. There a super light ski and are very playful. They aren't super noodly like old Anthems or Invaders but they flex, then POP. Having a little bit of a stiffer ski helps to give them more pop and also makes landing jumps easier (Fuck Line Invaders). The ski hold up real nicely on all mountain too. The sidewall construction makes them better than an Anthem for all mountain stuff and you can really notice it when you set an edge. The only problem I have had is some cracking in the topsheet on my tips. They aren't really pressure cracks but just from slamming down on jumps. The cracks are only on the very top layer of topsheet though and doesn't effect the ski at all.

And last but not least. Bluehouse has the BEST customer service ever. They'll respond to your emails within a couple hours or a day and make sure that you are happy with your skis. If you broke them or they delammed or something, I'm sure they would also be real good about warrantying them. Super driven company that stands by their products. I would definitely recommend them.

i would recommend them. i have about 30 days on them and they are super fun. unlike you i am going from antics to anthems next year. they are cheap as shit ($250) and you will love them in the park. not really sure about groomers though because i do not stray away from the park. i will post a pick of some bad damage i received from excessive rail usage later

I agree with all this. I bought them last year (the first year they made them) and they are still in great condition and I have skied them pretty hard.

I have the same topsheet cracking in the tips, but it affects nothing. The edges have also held up surprisingly well.

You also cannot beat bluehouse for the price.

i have a pair of these antics got them at the begginning of the season and have loved them ever since...just recently however i looked at my ski and the bluehouse logo diecut on the bottom had begun to peel off and after i looked at them after skiing yesterday i noticed part of my edge was gone from the tip of my ski and the logo was peeling off...i emailed Bluehouse at 12:15 this morning and got a response only 12 minutes later saying that they were going to replace them for no charge under warranty...about an hour and a half ago i received my delivery conformation email from FedEx saying they would be here thursday...good stuff bluehouse way to stand behind your product!

in conclusion i would definitely get these skis love them a lot and they back up their product and i have rode them on groomers and in about 4 inches of powder and they do great! you wont be disappointed!!!

I could see that edge pop out happening there. That's the only thing I'm skeptical with, with the ski. The edges end and come together essentially right where yours fell out
