What will it be? If you have no idea what I mean, last season it was the switch (corked) 10 or 12. It's the trick that wins big air competitions, that some people bitch about while others collect big novelty checks. My prediction is big switch no grab spins with shiftys or with grabs for part of the rotation and shiftys for the remainder of it.
 
my guess is everyone will actually throw tricks that look good and stop turning freeskiing into aerials.
 
or maybe double shifty spreads or like a half twist daffy half twist. dunno some old school outrigger landings would be dope.

Well I think the US open big air trick this upcoming season will be a 540 critical or rocket or a cab 7 opposite hand true tail.
 
well it could be a switch 10 fest again... but if it does change, it can go one of 3 directions... one, who can do cab left to cab right 10 the best, two... grab to grabs... cab 7s and 9s with two grabs, like cosco's cuattro... or three, doubles... wilson flips and kangaroo flips... my vote is for the second choice
 
my vote is for the second choice as well but i see it movie into your thrid one, wilsion flips and kangaroons and maybe if someone comes up with a double cork, that is what is gonna rule big air......... but 2 people are gonna have to have better tricks then the kangroo flip so Jon can get thrid when he deserves first
 
Switch 10's again, and Switch 9's in reality.

What I'd like, switch 7 both ways, corked, with sick grabs.

For the past few seasons everyones said lets get more 5's and 7's with shiftys and all 4 directions and all of that...but when it comes down to it, they're only early round tricks, everyone pulls out the 10 or 12 or 14 to win it.

Maybe some more double corks and double flips a la Wilson and Kangaroo after it's wide new-found appreciation from Jon and JOI.

Maybe Gagnier will decide to throw more Misty 9's and 10's tails and shit like that....maybe.

But mainly, switch 10 and 1260 switch or normal.

 
I'd really like to see way less corks and way more flatspin, rodeo, misty, etc. I think Vanular may be bringing back flatspins in a big way.
 
im hopeing to see more competitions like JOI and a few more super steezy sw 1440 tj style will probubly be more like the direction it goes

double corks/flips/inverts will be the craze..

Wilson Flip, now Kangaroo, everything else will follow..
 
jon will throw the kangaroo flip at the x games and will win. the crowd will go nuts cause it was two flips and the judges will hand it to him.
 
Charles gagnier has been doing that and saying that spinning both ways is important for years now...
 
so has tanner and raps and all of c-crew but does anyone listen... nooooo! because everyone thiunks they are better skiers than tanner and they really arent.
