Blizzard Peacemaker?

So I have read pretty much all the reviews they have available on these skis and I was wanting to hear some other peoples thoughts on them. I am looking for a ski that can shred Alta on any day of the week. I currently have FRs for my PC days and want something more mountain friendly. I am interested in the candide 2.0 and 3.0, peacemakers, Gauchos and Devastators. So please help cause I need someone to sway me one way or they other. (stinky_pete dont judge) Thanks!

P.S. I am like 5' 4'' and 140

I don't trust blizzard aaa a ski company. Talked to some reps at an expo back two years back and they were clueless. The skis looked low quality and fragile too.

That describes the majority of reps I've talked with. I wouldn't dismiss an entire manufacturer based off a shitty experience with a rep, they're just sales peons.

I've only owned one pair of Blizzards, and I wouldn't call them low quality or fragile. Maybe you were looking at a pre-production version of the ski.

I have three pairs of skis on my "want to buy" list, and two of them are Blizzards.

I'm proud to throw my words of ignorance in there to keep this thread from going unnoticed. It's fun to learn things, I never did any research on the company and just assumed they were just a small company that had no clue what they were doing. After checking them out I see that they go back a long ways and innovate a lot. I feel stupid now. Probably won't be buying any because their twins are wider and differently shaped than what I have been riding and won't suit midwest terrain as well. But if you're shredding Alta, those skis look primo prime, plus you won't look like a basic NSer with faction skis if you ride blizzard.

You really have no idea, probably some of the best made skis out. The Bodacious was developed by Arnie Backstrom for the FWT. The build quality is on par with the German made Volkls.

I saw this thread at the bottom of the page with 0 replies and felt bad. I opened my mouth because i didn't want it to die and OP feeling like nobody cares. OP, I care. I love.

Blizzard has been upping their game a lot recently, and love what they are coming out with. Ive heard nothing but great things about their skis. Honestly, out of those choices, I don't think you can go wrong with either ski.

I can share some info about the Devastators as well as a few other people on here. I personally love these skis with all my heart, and pretty much bought those so I could have a daily driver for Snowbird. sI was pretty much in the same position as you, Already have plenty of park skis and needed something to let me have fun all over the mountain.

They're fat enough to where they will get you through just about any type of snow, have the perfect amount of rocker for float, yet still let you lay down carves like a racer. The flex is something I would consider a stiff but playful flex, meaning you have the stability and stiffness to charge, yet you can still whip the tips/tails around for butters without the annoying chattery-ness you see in other softer flex all-mtn skis. they crush landings, even those punchy spring slush ones you'll see up in LCC, and have tons of pop for jumping off of things. Very fast bases if you wax them on the regular, and have probably the coolest topsheets on a ski I have ever seen (Talking about the limited edition graphic, its 10x more bad-ass in person, and its a great conversation starter on the chair when jerries wanna know where you got those dope skis)

very fun pair of skis, 10/10 rating from myself. a few other people will chime in that own them and say the same things, but we cant emphasize it enough. these skis just simply fucking rule .

Ive been riding my blizzard peacemakers for two years and am still super siked on their performance. Defiantly would choose this ski as a one ski quiver over any others

I will continue to back every word you say on these skis. They fucking rule.

OP demo a pair of Devastators and your eyes will be opened, and the mountain will be a brighter place. Do it. You won't regret It. Plus they can be found for $300 brand new;)

I love these skis the rip everything, i can ski em all over resort handle fresh snow very well, super poppy, incredible stable, they are fun in the park too…I've ski these guys a lot this season, i owned a pair of codys last year which are now the gaucho (stiffer i heard) they were fun too but not as stiff or stable at high speeds as the peacemaker, they were super buttery and playful

This, sounds like his local shop is full of tards.

or not...I saw these because I was working in a repair shop, and as a result the skis I saw were mounted at various locations.

then you're just a shitty shop tech then.

how is that relevant or even derived from my statements? is it because I don't like blizzards?

none of the skis I saw that had been mounted in the shop I worked in. I was simply noting that I had seen a number of blizzard skis with bindings that had been ripped out, which is relevant to the thread.
