Blink-182 fans, Boomer is Back!

you've missed alot. go out and buy every blink 182 album and listen to them in chronological order starting with the oldest first.
 
deffinately wont be the same though. Not even close to how punk blink was in their prime, im calling that right now.
 
ya but it's been soo long since dude ranch and cheshire cat. some of their newer stuff is good but we haven't seen the punk blink in a long time in my opinion.
 
Although this is true, change isn't alway's a bad thing. I LOVE old bink, but the untitled album fucking RULES, so i'm really excited to see what they're going to come out with next. From what they've divulged in interviews etc. the new record is really a mixture of everything they've done in their careers...

In any case, I am WAY too big of a fan to dislike anything they put out. haha
 
FUCK YEAH BLINK! that was good to see after watching Tom do his AVA thing. Super stoked for the new CD regardless of how it sounds.

wow sorry guys i hate to come into this thread looking all uninnformed. im a HUGE blink fan..just never saw this music video for some reason. i bought all their albums a long time ago and saw them in concert for their reunion tour in 2009 i think.

dont really think the new albums gunna be much like cheshire cat/buddha but more like enema of the state.

now exscuse me while i take off my pants and jack it
 
haha yeah dude, I'll have to agree with you on that. I'll probably like it until its played on the radio 24/7 and killed for eternity. However, it definitely wont be anything real punk. I've grown up on blink haha. When i used to play guitar Carousel was the first song i ever learned.
 
definitely, Yeah they generally have one or two songs that get heavy rotation on the radio, but for the most part the rest of the record is much less popular. Although things could definitely be different and way bigger this time.

Word, me too. I think i started when I was 6 haha. Loooongg ass time. Right on man, I think the first song I learned on my own was dammit.
 
Me and like 3 of my friends started a band in 8th grade. This was the first song we played. We later pretty much became a blink cover band and could play about 90% of their songs pretty well. Biggest musical influence of my early teenage years for sure
 
things will be HUGE this time. They haven't released an album in years, all the kids who used to listen to blink will eat this up, especially after they got back together and toured however long that was ago. I'm hoping for the best though, hopefully it wont turn into something that's straight pop-rock.
 
lucky. and yeah i agree about it being like take off your pants and jacket. I want a poster of that album cover for my dorm room.
 
Definitely a lot of new post break up/reunion fans also.

The tour in 09 was big for sure, and they played some festivals in Europe(headlined Reading and Leeds for god's sake).

Got to see them in 09 and at Epicenter in september, so fun.
