Blends or Soul Riders?

So lately I've been interested in getting either the Line Blends or the Nordica Soul Riders. By seeing some videos in the past I have noticed that the Soul Riders look pretty soft and fun, but one of my friends recently told me that they're not as soft as they look. Im leaning more towards the Soul Rider because Line skis durability isn't all that great. Also im 5'7 and 120ish. Thanks for the help and +karma for good feedback!
 
My Blends are the most fun ski I've ever stepped into. I charge hard when I ski but don't weigh that much (140 lbs) so I decided to go with the blends because they are softer. The durability on them has been great, as long as you take decent care of them.
 
The Nordicas are solidly built and can charge, but overall are a more park-exclusive ski than the Blends. They are not as soft as Kieran McVeigh's style would have you convinced; they are moderately stiff from the factory and require breaking in to achieve a similar flex to McSlay's. The Blends on the other hand are a true all-mountain ski that can shred the park. Overall, Line may not make the most durable skis, but the Blends are less pron to issues than other models. I personally would prefer the Blend for its capability in all aspects of riding, but both skis have their pros and cons. If you can find one for significantly less than the other, I would say go for it, as they are both quality skis.
 
I can vouch for what the guy ^^ said above. My blends are my one ski quiver and they literally charge on everything I've skied - groomers, park, pow. Get them center mounted and they're a blast riping switch as well, the soft tails/rocker makes it fun for switch butters and pow turns.
 
I have used blends last season on demo day and I have used and been in more contact with soul riders at this season and I can definitely say that the SR's are going to be a better all over ski. the blends were too noodly for me albeit uber fun, but they could NOT charge at all and I was scared to bomb with them. I would only recommend those if you are really only focused on a ski that will bend in half without a problem. The SR's on the other hand can actually be used as an all mountain ski. good edging, nice flex, definitely not a soft as you might think but that shouldn't get in your way.
