Blank skate decks

I just wanted to know if blank decks were the same as regulars and just cheaper because of the lack of graphic, or is there an actual difference. Also if anyone knows where to get a solid one

My two friends just ordered 10 blanks from eBay and their experience was terrible. The decks were horrible. They were all really heavy. I guess eBay wasn't the best place to buy them but they were the cheapest in bulk. So my advice would be just buy one and see how it goes.

I heard thank blank skate decks are much more fragile than ones with graphics and the only way to fix it is to increase the rigidity of the board by adding a heinous amount of stickers to the bottom.

ha , ive only ever bought blank decks. save for one ZERO board i bought from a friend cause the trucks were nice ha, but ya ive always riden blanks. i have never had any probs, but i do think that they are a little heavier. not sure about that , but compared to one of my friends name brand decks wich is the same size and width etc, it does feel a bit heavier, could be wrong tho. but ya i love blank decks ! way cheaper and they work fine, just as good as a name brand deck imo.
