So how did everyone enjoy that damn blackout..when did your power turn on?

Why Is It That Canada Kicks So Much Ass?
 
I got together with some of the folks i ride with in the winter and was pretty much drunk from thursday when the power kicked out till 5 am saturday morning) the power cam back about 6 pm friday evening for us.

Well I was well on my way to a regatta in Canada and when we stopped for gas in Detroit we found out the power was out and decided to spend the night. When we woke up the power was still out, so we filled the car up with the gas from the crash boat and headed back home. Fucking bullshit if you ask me.

I was at my buddies cottage,we just sat at the dock with a battery powered cd player blasting music all night, it was cool, some people came by on boats. The power went back on at like 11 30.

My drinking team has a skiing problem.
 
I was on the 21st floor at work, walked down 3 subway stops home, relaxed, read a book, drank and BBQed then went away friady afternoon to my cottage and we we had power there whenI got there.

ah ha you poor city folk...

out here in 'kirkfield'--balsam lake area--or the middle of nowhere... the power was out for just under 24 hours... no biggie. not like it hasnt happened before! we get crazy ass summer storms that will knock the power out for half a day, so really its nothing new!

i still shake my head at the 'fact' cheese was invented during WWII... it seems a bit odd... i still luv ya scott ;)

 
down in lindsay ontario the power was only out for about 10 hours so i guess we were lucky, I spend the whole day out on the boat so I pretty much missed it!

We went to fenelon and got real drunk and jumped off the bridge and shit.... it was pretty fun

sat on the balcony with a few beers...then went camping the next day and power was back on by the time we got home sunday...not that bad really

i was in bc....came home fri night missed it all....luckily my flight wasnt even screwed up.

...tell me for the last time that you're sorry so i can laugh out loud as i watch you struggle; broken, bloody and barely breathing...

 
man the fucking black out was so much fun! We were all pissed when the power came back on cuz we had way too much fun while it was pitch black EVERYWHERE.

A bunch of us (me, piot, mitch, dean, mikey...just the boys from north bay) ate a shitload of the best mushrooms i have ever had in my entire life (i ate almost 21 grams in two and a half days) and just tripped balls and walked around the town. It was so trippy cuz you could see the outlines of people walking around, but couldn't see any detail because it was SO FUCKING DARK OUT! Eventually i started hallucinating that there were people running around everywhere, and that tripped me out pretty good.

The biggest problem with no power? Couldn't take out any money to buy any fucking weed! I went two days without blazing even once...but believe you-me that i got stoned as fuck once civilization came back!
