Blackmagic Production Camera 4K

Ha, pretty much.

Yeah, the file sizes are huge.

1 minute 4K - 5GB / 1 hour - 300GB

1 minute 1080p - 1.5GB / 1 hour - 90GB

Since I use this for work, most of my clients will purchase hard drives for the work. If they want to "upgrade" to 4K then they spend more for hard drives and pay me for labor.

They aren't UV filters. They are 5 step up/step down rings. Since the Zeiss ZF 50mm f/1.4 is such a short lens, its hard to work with a matte box. So I've added the rings to extend the lens. Theres no vignetting and I can still use filters on top of it. All of my lenses have step up rings to 77mm so all of my filters work.

Have fun trying to edit that shit in any reasonable amount of time cuz of render speeds

Im legitimately wondering how you edit such huge files? You just lower the quality edit them then replace them with the real quality clips? Or am I totally missing something.

Using a newer MacBook Pro. In CS6 Premiere, if it starts to get laggy at all, I can control the playback quality down to 1/2 or 1/4. Flawless editing.

Ahhh. Gotcha. Ya I have cs5 on a slightly older mac and to edit footage from my gh3 I have to down the quality. Edit. Then sub in the good footy and render
