BLACKbox Skis... there back

hey bro.. sounds like you might really get somthing going here if you put the effort in... and I know that as a new company, you need to find people to rep the company and all that, and the Waterville Valley Freeride Team has some sick kids, who are looking to get set up w/ someone, so if you get this shit off the ground, im sure some of those kids would be definitly some potential prospects for you... maybe you could work out some sort of a team deal or somthing with them... lemme know what you think... im just trying to help out a few of my bros -Henrik (WVFT)

alright. if you msg'd me and i dont get back with you, im sorry. i have about 30 or so. but i have come up with a plan for the graphics on the analog. they are going to be a shade of dark red, with blackbox on the left ski (front) and the logo crooked on the other. they are gonna be white. the tail graphics are going to be a white/black picture of big headphones, and old cassette player and a tape. the bases are white, with the front graphics the same (in black) and the tails each have half of a headphone siluette on them with 'Analog writen there. the sidewalls are also white. i know thats a little rough to imagin, but i dont have photoshop right now and i cant draw them out for you. all i can say is they look real tight. i might revamp the perception graphis also.

as for lenghts and width, the Analog will come in three sizes, in the range of 160, 170, 180. maybe a little bigger, but thats the basic idea. the Preceptions will be around 170, 180, 190. as for width, the analog will be comperable to the trouble makers or P.E.s. now the preceptions could be a regular all mountain ski, or a real fat one. what do you all think?

Also, the idea came up of a 'Blackbox team' to test and rep the skis all over the US. i still have lots to consider, but it is possible. (please dont msg me telling me you wanna be on the team! if thats what i decide to do, i will go about it similar to a sponsorship type ordeal, with resumes and videos.) but i dont wanna get ahead of myself.

Dude thats awesome, I want some blackbox skis. I am willing to invest up to $150 for some analogs. i ski hard and could send you a video or a resume if you want

Personally man, I think for the Analog the width should be like 85mm. and for the Perception something like 95mm. I just like wider skis better than skinny.

 
well then he should make an east coast analog and a west coast analog. The east coast will be 60mm waist and west coast 85mm. HappY?

i'd be interested, message me some info on the analog if you need somone that could test the hell out of em. i'm an instructor, and i'm on snow 80+ days a season. i jump off of everything i see, so they'll get run through their paces.

second. i was 17 when i organized and ran a comp all by myself. it was my first time, i got sponsors, judges, set up everything, all the plans all the bullshit. and it was sick. go for it boy

third. graphics. simple. big block writing down the skis half on the right and half on the left. make the pearl white with black writing. or maybe one ski red and one white. i dont some thing simple and different.

fourth. it will work fo sureas long as you give it 110 %. no shittin you. thats all it takes to be successful just commit and sacrifice everything.

 
if i get some pic's of that all mountain ski then i might be interested...but im not going to give you my money untill i see what im going to get not a drawing.. and actual picture..

 
This is OLD! who dug this up? i just got like ten msgs. i never happened because i couldnt get money and materials. anyway, i would love to actually get a few skis built, cause i got some great ideas. maybe over SUMMER AFTER I START college in a year.

i am stoked on your ambition but you need to stop 'waiting to figure things out.' you have ball park numbers for the sizes, dont have all the materials for the press need a website to be done for you, and are waiting to get photoshop to do the ski graphics. january is alot closer than it looks, start charging gnar or hold off release until next season.
