Black Rims, White 4Runner

Just wondering. Do people think that look is douchy? I found some Tundra rims that are pretty cool, but the finish is all coming off so I'm considering buying them and having them powder coated.

Any other wheel suggestions?
 
I don't know if this is douchey nor do I care but my personal opinion is black rims always look good.
 
White and black is often called the storm trooper look. I like it. Just plasti dip the wheels.
 
I never understood putting black wheels on a white car. Just spray them silver. Black looks tacky and silly on a white car imo.

It just screams "I'm 19 and I'm reaching at straws, someone please look at me!"

But hey, if you like it that's all that matters.

This is one that I've always liked the look of, if you ever find the thin black SR5 flairs for sale somewhere let me know because I can't find any

For me, seeing those kinds of rims on that car would make me think "probable doucher" But hey fuck what others think, if you like em do it
 
looks fine. not too flashy. i was expecting like a glossy black but i guess its more matte black so it doesnt really shine.
 
No offence but I think this would be really, really, dumb.

So I might just redo them silver, with my wheels with the snow tires I sort of like how they look but I cant help but feel like a tool at times.
 
am I the only one who thinks people hating on the colour of rims is fucking ridiculous and sounds like a 16 year old girl?

who cares what other people's wheels look like. it's a fucking car. as long as my wheels aren't square I don't give a shit really.
 
See I like all of those but the first one. Whatever though, it's just one person's opinion. I just don't personally like black rims on white cars.

love 4runners. sick car man! as for the rims i'd say do it. i think black rims look better on lots of cars personally
 
Go for it. It's personal opinion but I think black wheels always looks good. Especially since you have an SUV and not a car. Cars you can be more creative with wheel color. Not as much with SUVs.
 
I honestly really like the look of that. I wouldn't bother getting them powder coated. HOWEVER. If the finish on them is going all to hell and the spots where it is is corroding, then yeah, I'd probably get them blasted and powder coated.
 
Hah the steel rims that came on my truck (which is white) are black, so it would cost more to change the color than to keep them the same. Ideally, I'd like to have the steel rims charcoal/grey-colored, but it's free to keep them black.
 
See I respect that. You aren't about black rims but you aren't flaunting anything else. Personally I think they work. They are a cheap (plasti-dip) mod you can do to make your car seem slightly above average. But hey, who am I, just a male nurse who has a hankering for penis.
