Pretty excited that it comes out tomorrow night since i need to put my PS4 to more use, but no, i wont be grabbing it until Friday evening. Here's my gamer tag for PS4 in case you wanna mob.

Black ops 1 was alright, black ops two sucked, black ops 3 is going to blow. That said, I think ghosts and advanced warfare are bad enough bops 3 might actually seem decent.

That said I'm done. MW3 was the last cod game I played.

Im with you on all that, but i said the same thing about advanced warfare and eventually started to like it. I just miss Modern Warfare so much. Please go back

Yeah, honestly I'd probably buy bops but I can't really play anymore anyway. My last head injury fucked my brain up and I can't really play video games, at least not fast paced ones anymore.

I can play for a few rounds, but that's about it.

I just hate that it became all about the ridiculous bullshit and much less about running around and shooting people.

A lobby where there was nothing outside of the basic killstreaks, and the gun setups were a bit less would be cool to me.

It's funny that it's an 18 plus game, that caters to the people who are under 18 for sales.
 
I am not going to buy another Call of Duty game until they go back to WWII. Enough of this futuristic nonsense.

I've played so much of I and II I know the same thing will happen again. They're not as good as MW games but they always end up being more fun to play multiplayer since they're more arcadey

Yeah, but it's like the guy above. Don't get me wrong, I'll hate the game as soon as I play it but I'll just get used to it, then eventually like it. I need to put my PlayStation to more use other than Netflix and a game here and there. I'm ready for "the division" in March. If you look that game up, it looks amazing.

division looks good, but if you want a really good game that you will log serious hours in, get the witcher 3
 
I can't believe that they are still making these games, and even more surprised that people are still buying these games.

This is what made the first COD so much fun. Everything was so simple and not convoluted with all these crazy killstreaks and technology. If they could revitalize that simplicity I might be interested in the franchise again. Like someone else said, I'm sick of this futuristic bullshit COD has become. I'll play Halo if I want that

However, How can games with older techology, less detailed maps, less detailed code, characters, guns, perks, equipment, lethals, options for the basic games, less options to play fun different games, weak DLC packages (which is the best part imo in the newer games), NO OPTION FOR 4 player, weak online & local options, no survival and other horde modes, less detailed online goals/medals/awards, worse detail be better than the newer games than all this?

Don't get me wrong, I could play RUST all day long. But that doesn't mean the other games are "shitty, worse, etc."

Anyways what I'm trying to say is I have never really heard actual justifcation as to why the older games are better!

I liked COD4 because it was simple, I play CSGO pretty often for that exact reason. Like i watched by buddy play BO2 when it first came out and just looking at the screen made me want to kill myself.

I will admit, MW2 sticks and stones (i think that's what the throwing knife game was called?) was so fucking fun.

I haven't owned any call of duty games after 4, but all the newer ones just seem the exact same but way more flashy. I've played them and it seems like the same thing with more blood, fancier guns and all kinds of options popping up when I die or kill someone that I don't know what the fuck to do with.

and call of duty is repetitive as fuck no matter what game it is. run around and shoot people, repeat.

Literally tried to become halo. I'll play halo if I want to play halo. Fuck your jetpacks and shit.

I mean there's the idea that you have to evolve. That's true to an extent, but you can go back and forth instead of what they're doing.

To me it's all about who you can kill. I'm not trying to bring it down to slap only like goldeneye, but a reasonable amount of guns, some basic killstreaks and then just let the players throw down. Instead they want some fantastic world of bullshit that 12 years olds will be like OMG SICK!!!!!! and get their parents to buy it for christmas so they can camp in some corner with some magic invisible perk and or have some ridiculous over the top satellite with laser beams or control asteroids or whatever.

Fuck that shit. I just want to shoot people in a non retarded game format.

Also since call of duty is being discussed I watched one of those pro game matches to see what it was. They did search, tdm, and dom. Those motherfuckers SUCKED at dom, It was tragic to see. They had no idea how to play. It was funny considering they were "pro" gamers.

You're spot on with this statement. I don't like halo, I don't like destiny, I don't like any game where I'm fighting a fuck load of aliens. I like to play where my feet and the enemies feet are always on the ground and not spiraling through the air while I'm being shot at with a laser gun. MW was insanely good for this exact reason. Realistic gameplay. I know all those gamers out there will now say "games aren't meant to be realistic all the time. It's art". Well, that art that call it is shit and not as fun to play.

In the end, the gaming industry will still be getting my $60 tomorrow so I can use my PS4 subscription and the console itself to its full potential. I'll go thru the same COD shit tomorrow where I hate it, then slowly develope a liking for it over an entire year.
 
I'm pretty pumped for it, I'm that kid that doesn't care about the campaign and only plays multiplayer and zombies so that looks alright.
 
I've given up on buying cod games within a few days of its release. If it's good I'll buy it in a month or so. I'll be buying fallout in the meantime.

Fuck, even halo (excluding 5) is more simplistic than the new cods (or at least better done)

The games have no flow anymore. It's just jet packing and running batshit crazy around the map and hoping you have a faster reaction time.
 
I was gonna get this game but if it's just jetpacking around like AW I'm not gonna bother. I don't mind the black ops games but I don't like the whole jetpack thing. COD should be played on your feet, as evidenced by AW
 
Yeah, the jet packing is retarded. And to the "Errrmagerd you just gotta get used to it" people. I played a few times at a friends and was still getting 25 or so kills a game and a decently positive kd. I just thought it was retarded.

As far as the person complaining that running around and shooting people is all the same, that's kind of the point imo.

I don't want a bunch of bullshit. I just want to run around and shoot people.

I was big into search for a while but for me there is no other game than domination. You can crush it like tdm, but you play the maps more strategically, more kills, less campers, more points, it's the best.

I do wish the spawn points were better on MW3 though even though they make it easier to get kills but whatever.

Just got to my parents house. I might grab my xbox before I leave and hook it up, play some cod4, get pissed at how hacked the lobbies are, and throw it out the window.

Sticks and stones is black ops 1 and 2 I'm pretty sure.
 
BO3 is hella fun. Couldn't stand advanced warfare, so I was hesitant buying this. But I'm glad I did, plays & feels like the older CODs.

multiplayer and zombies are pretty fun, the campaign is one of the worst things ive ever done in a videogame.
 
Going to get a PS4 this weekend. Should I buy Black Ops 3 or Bloodborne? My PS4 is going to come with a game either Uncharted or Arkham Asylum.

We need to get a newschoolers zombie game going on ps4. Im sick of playing zombies and having noone to talk to and finding people who are completely oblivious that they are playing video games.
 
I wish they'd go back to world war two or even one instead of reproducing the same trash. At least kids could learn something from playing too. The new CODs look weak
 
Not going to lie. I'm a CoD4 freak....had over 100,000 kills in online on CoD4...thats a shit load of time playing (at least in my opinion) and pretty much ever since CoD4...I've said they have all sucked, and its become Halo.

Picked up Blops3 cause fuck it, I have money to spend and this is America. Plus atleast Zombies can always be fun.

I'm obsessed with it, like it way more than I thought I would. So far I'm a fan of most the maps, the guys seem pretty balanced, when watching kill cams there seems to be a good variety of weapons being used, even in the first week.

Side Note: FALL OUT 4 TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Side Note v2: Star Wars Battlefront next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kinda blows...always seems like somebody pops up behind you because all the rooms and areas have tons of entrances. The fast running, running on walls, and thruster stuff is kind of cool but overall pretty useless for playing online, it just makes everyone way faster so you die a ton. I do kinda suck so doesn't help haha but I thought black ops 2 and the older ones were way better.

I've found it tough to get all my killstreaks, especially since a UAV is 500 points
