Black Crow Camox mount position

Just coped the 180cm BlackCrow Camox on a labor day sale and was wondering about mount position. BlackCrow suggest -6 cm of true center, but the past 6-8 years ive been around -5/4 cm on multiple different sets.

I’m trying to find the sweet spot of where to mount where I can still have performance, but still he able to have decent balance in the air.

you get what I‘m saying, I‘m bad at words

I would suggest mounting either at rec or at -5, especially since in the grand scheme of things, -6 isnt insanely far back. Unless you ski switch a ton, mounting drastically closer to center will just jack up how the ski turns and will make it feel hooky.

that being said, 1cm will make almost no difference. The recommended mount on the Moment Wildcat 108 is -6, and I mounted at -5 and have had no issues feeling comfortable in the air or skiing switch.

Mine are center because the guy lied about how many mounts they had and that was the only place I could mount them, still ski fine though

I found 2 cm forward of the recommended line to be more balanced in the air while still offering good performance all around the mountain compared to mounting on the line. Tested on the line and +2 back to back and I didn't feel like I was sacrificing much at +2.
