Black bars on the video

I am new at editing and filming and I am trying to export my video from Final Cut Express to youtube or vimeo, but I keep getting black bars on the top and bottom of the video. I tried lots of different export settings, but I keep getting the black bars. I use .mov format to upload and all the other recommended settings for youtube and vimeo, but I can not get ride of those black bars. Does any body know what I am doing wrong? I would like to get the video to fit the screen perfectly. Thanks +++K

Are the black bars in the quicktime mov on your computer?

You're exporting 16:9 with letterboxing though, so just fix that and youre good.
 
I put all the same settings for this video just a higher bit rate, because it was just a short test. I got no black bars on this one.
