Bittersweet is having their Slopestyle/Big Air comp on 1/26. I don't have any specifics other than the date, but in years past it has been a blast.

 
im pretty sure its 2 different competitions, big air and rails. Ill for sure be doing the big air, maybe the rails, but ill def be there

All right, I've got all the info for the comp this Sunday.

It's going to be 2 seperate comps. Big Air and Rails. The rail comp will be judged on the Jeenyus Rail (I think that's the kinked rail).

Registration starts at 9am, and the entry fees are as follows:

Big Air - $20

Rails - $10

Both - $25

There are two divisions for skiers, Intermediate, and Advanced. Intermediate is limited to a 360 grab, and anything goes in Advanced.

Helmets are required, and no inverts, but Off Axis spins are ok. There will be trophies for the top 3 in each division, and there should be a decent amount of door prizes, as there are alot of sponsors listed.

Additionally, there will be a DJ. I'm not positive if there will be a discount on lift tickets, but there always has been in the past.

My take on it is that a Lincoln Loop most likely would get you DQ'd. A D-Spin, at least my take on it, would be kept. I really can't make any promises on that, but that's my take on it. Just stay away from Back/Front flips, and lincoln loops.

 
I will be there with my buddys of friday night, and early sunday, like open.....Hopefully saturday ill ghet my corks down and fakies b/c im not even going to try and D-spins, its not worth the risk....see yall there!

Yeah, I'll still be there but almost certainly wont be riding, seeing as I dislocated my shoulder tonight. The only reason I'm able to type right now is I'm tripping on morphine... sweet! But I should be up to film and hang out. So much for learning rodeo 7s eh?

That sucks about your shoulder. It should be a good time though. Lots of people throwing all sorts of stuff, and a large crowd to cheer everyone on.

Hey, when is everyone coming down for the comp? If anyone is coming down Saturday, let me know, and we'll hook up. Also, I may be going out to jib some rails around town Sat evening if anyones interested.
