Right, so I've kinda decided on a Ski to buy. I'm thinking of going with the line Chronic. 65% Groomer. 15% Park. 20% Pow. But not deep pow mind.

I'm British by the way, and these ski's will be used for all mountain use in 2 - 3 years time when I take a gap year and ski for a whole season US/Canada. They will be used once or a year for a week at a time, so I don't want to buy fixed bindings really, because I hire boots, due to foot growth, and I need to find adjustable bindings, which is bloody difficult unless I consider Demo Bindings which I've heard extremely bad things about.

So that's my dilemna. And also, a suggested mounting point please?

Most bindings can be adjusted up to two sizes more (you have to tell the tech to put the heel pieces on the track as far to the front of the track as possible). So that should help you. as far as what to get, that depends on how much you weigh and what type of skier you are. And as for mounting point, Chronics are really fun at -2.5 from true center.

Isn't that something to do with the forward pressure adjustment or something like that?

And like 160lbs, Advanced on groomers. Beginner Park.

Get px12's they have a huge track. The sizes can change a lot, and you wouldnt even have to take it to a shop if you are in any way knowledgeable.

yes, but it also adjusts the size. And PX12s would be an excellent choice for you.
