Bindings for STL's

I posted a while back about how my local ski shop told me that the Look P10's I bought would not fit because the break was not wide enough and that Look wasn't selling any breaks. I asked if I could just bend them and bring them back and the guy told me 'I'd have to bend the hell out of 'em.' Just wondering if there are any other bindings you guys are using? I was thinking of sending the P10s back and getting P12s with the wide breaks already.

And to further my belief that the shop doesn't know what they're talking about, the guy told me I could always try another binding. He told me Salomons would work, and I said how I really don't like the ones I have now. Then he said Marker has stuff that is just perfect for me...

WHAAAT? fat breaks with STL's? STL's are so skinny! they arent fat enough to have fat breaks, only a 85mm and up waist needs wide breaks I think and the STL's have a 76mm waist right? what the wtf?

i dont think they need a wide break dude...and even if they do, u should be able to get one for the p10s

man, if you can't get any look wide brakes, get a rossi wide brake. SOMEONE has to have em.

Your shop tech is a moron. Put your brakes in the vice and pull. Check every so often until they fit over the ski with a little clearance. Your shop guy, like mine, refused to bend the brakes. I have Look p12's and the brakes bent perfectly around them. It's easy to do too, just put one side int he vise and pull the other as hard as you can. DO NTO BUY WIDE BRAKES! thats overkill

 
yea dude, i have 183 and i got wide brakes fine.
