Bindings for Seth?

Sup guys.

I recently bought a pair of 169cm K2 Seths (2008) and have yet to decide what bindings to put on them. Seeing as theres a ton of gear knowledge and experience on this site, i'm hoping you guys can help me out.

I'm looking for something that isnt limited to a certain part of the moutnain. I'll be using them as an all mountain ski, and would greatly appreciate any suggestions as to what brand or model would match my needs.

really anything will work for all mtn. but scratch 120's or 140's would do nicely.. i would get 140's though is you are gonna be charging, dropping cliffs, or are an all around agressive skier

these are what is necessary to correctly assess what bindings will fit your needs, although we cant set your din, we can help pick a binder with a good din range for you

Sorry for the double post.

As for my ability, i wouldnt venture past a cork 5 in the park, but other than that i'll ski pretty much anything within reason.

i'd say an STH 16 or Jester if you've got cash, stick to solly binders and the only markers you should get for your situation would be the jesters or the griffons or i think solly is coming out with an STH 14 next year so you might want that, otherwise check out the look px15 or something around the 14-16 din range if you ride at 10-12, you never want to be on the highest or lowest din setting

The STH's seem the most conistent in their releases, but they all do the same thing and every binding has to go through the same require tests. I have seen a lot of jesters pull off skis this season. The scratch 140's are great, pretty cheap, fairly light, great heal piece and awesome elastic travel. I ski the scratch 140ti on a couple setups and love it, but for a little extra, the STH 16 is worth it.

your 6' and you got 169's? all the binding suggestions so far have been money, but if its possible without much trouble, i really think youd be happier with atleast the 179s. gotta be stoked on new gear !!

I've heard some not so great things about the Marker Jesters, so I'll steer clear of those for the time being. I had been looking at the Salomon STH 16s before i posted here, so i'll see if i can find a pair at Whistler this week. Thanks for your suggestions :)

As for the whole thing about 179 vs 169, I've tried on both. I know K2 runs longer than they say, so the 179s were above my head and the 169s came up just above my nose, which was perfect cuz i've skied short skis all my life. I got them for like 400 dollars on ebay (new) anyway, which is cheap seeing as they retail for close to 800. If they are too short theres nobody stopping me from selling them, but i think they'll be just fine for a year or so.

btw how do you reply to someones comment?

naace, sick deal. yeah ive always gone abit longer with my skis. your gonna love that ski, it rips everywhere. and to quote someone just look at theyr icon and look down alittle and it'l say "quote reply"
