Binding weight range importance?

Hi guys, I am thinking of buying the Salomon XDR 78's. with mercury 11 bindings. I just broke into the low intermediate range, doing some blues, skiing parallel but need to work on turn flow, etc. These are highly rated for beginner to advanced intermediate. I live in the northeast so should be good for bulk of what I do. However, I just noticed on Skis.com they have a "Binding weight range" which tops out at 240. Which is right about where I weigh, how serious is this? I looked at other skis in that range and the bulk of them topped out at 240, higher end skis go up to 260 but I don't really need those kind of skis yet. Thought I'd ask here to see how important this is because it hasn't come up in any research. Thanks.

If you use this handy calculator and it spits out a number within the DIN range for a particular binding you should be good though perhaps consult a certified ski tech, I'm just some guy on the Internet.

I've actually used the calculator before, I am a 6.5, but even if I max everything out I am only a 9.5. I am definitely going to ask but I suspect the shopkeeper who is selling it is going to say it is fine so thought I'd get some input here.
