Binding to compliment TST 13 192cm

Hey,

I just had some 192cm TSTs delivered.

Will be a one ski quiver this year.

I am looking for a perfect binding to compliment the ski. I would like something that has a stability around it, and weight isn't really an issue.

Am I stuck only to look at the Marker Jester? I am also considering the Schizo.

These skis will be used in Australia over the next 12 weeks, so conditions are never predictable and are extremely variable.

Fannksssss

Hey, if you could just say how heavy and tall you are and what kind of level of skier you are ie. Level I/II/III. Also if you have a DIN setting you normally feel comfortable skiing on what is it?

Oh,

I am 6ft 1/6ft 2, about 77kg (170lb) and I am a Level III skiier (can ski anything).

I usually have quite a high DIN around 13? But obviously it can vary.

Personally for you I would look at the sth 16. Or have a look at the sth2 16. It's a super solid binding. Not too heavy and super durable. Others to look at would be the fks 180. Personally I would not go for it due to the brake issues but its a super solid binding too. Heavier then the sth but weight is not useully an issue with bindings I have found. I have some s9-16 steels they weigh a ton but they are super durable. Personally I would go sth 16 over the steels though. I have both and there is no real performance difference so just because of the weight difference I would go sth. But if you break bindings all the time see if you can find some steels.

Pivot 14 would be fine and last a while. But sense you don't care about weight get the 18s they're bomber and will last you a while

If he rides at a din if 13 I woul bit get a 14 din binding. Yes it would work but it would be very top end. Also the 140 has the awfull plastic toe piece. If he wanted to go the 180 would be far better option. But sth's would be even better

I can vouch for the STH16s too, take a look at my review of them here (sorry about the clicky, or lack of) -http://aslansskiblog.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/salomon-sth16-binding-review.html
