the new PX12s have a better forward pressure system (and also more pressure for that matter). They also have the same amount of elastic travel as the old P-series bindings.
Both good bindings. If you've never had a pair of the old turntables (P-series), I'd get that before you can't find it anymore... that way you can still get the PX bindings in the future and try them out as well.
