Binding moutning ?

is it correct that once a ski is mounted you cannot remove the binding and remount it in a different spot?

so if the fucker at the shop mounted them 2cm back from core center and i wanted 2cm in front of core center i can take them back and get them remounted?

yes. it will weaken your skis somewhat, and -2 from center isnt that bad. just ride it. 2cm isnt going to kill you in the park, i dont think its worth the second drilling.

HOWEVER: the shop should do something to compensate you for the inconvieniance, as long as you specified center, and they fucked up.

its kind of a 4cm swing so i want it done- i feel so weird on them doing rails. what are the negatives to remounting them?

4 cm from where you want is pretty bad on their part...

how do the skis ride? -2 from core should promote a better freeride and it shouldnt hurt park performance at all in my opinion...

idk why you feel weird doing rails... either way you should land under boot...

disadvantages to remount are the core will have holes in it... they seal them but it wont be like a solid new sealed core...

my friend got some new skis mounted and the shop mounted them way off from where he told them and wrote on the sheet of paper so they are giving him new skis. and he got to ski for feb vaca on the ones they mounted wrong so he could jut do whatever he wanted and destroy them.
