Binding Mounting

hey what are the disadvantages of having my bindings mounted towards the back of my skis? i have 2003 volkl vertigo g4's w/ marker titaniums (i dont ski park that much, so rails aren't a big deal to me). i mainly ski bc, but can hold my own on big kickers. Im 5'10' 180 pounds, din is at 9.5. heaven to me is untracked, is it bad if my bindings are mounted farther back?

Nope if that is the only type of skiing u r going to do. but i would get them further up b/c freeskiing is highly contagious (sp)

the vertigos are mini twins...but like i said, i dont ski park that much. i can land 540's no problem...just got a little worried when i got my skis back. I had old looks on, but blew them up at brighton, and they chose to mount the bindings back instead of forward.
