Binding mount location

I recently bought a pair of 179cm K2 Press's and have been skeptical about their binding location. They are mounted 2cm forward, which apparently is 5cm back from the center point. When buying my skies i was told this would be good for both all mountain skiing as well as some park skiing. From experience, would this be an ok position for skiing park? Ideally it wouldn't be great for rails and such, but would it be a deal breaker? Based on this post it's pretty obvious that I'm fairly new to skiing. This was my second season and I spent most of my time doing black diamonds instead of focussing on freestyle.

5 cm back from true center? Definitely not a deal breaker. It would even still be possible for rails. Ideally for someone in your position I would reccomend about mounting skis at the balance point (normally a little back from true center)

Balance point on a non-traditional ski is usually in front of centre, due to the wider tip and often slightly thicker core in front of the binding. Just throwing it out there...

But then you can blu-tac the binding on the ski and try to balance it that way... but then you really ought to clip a boot in and balance that too... at which point it gets quite ridiculous.

To OP... it'll probably be fine, but if it's not it shouldn't be a big deal to re-mount a few cm forward.
