Binding inserts? (Binding freedom)

Hey guys wondering if anyone has had experience with binding inserts. I was thinking about buying all the tools you need to install and a couple sets of inserts from binding freedom. I know they aren't too easy to install precisely but I think I understand the process. It's pretty expensive tho. It just seems really nice to be able to swap bindings around. Specify I want to be able to swap jesters and shifts on my Whitewalkers.

Anyways, any good or bad experiences with inserts?

Why not getting Duke PT ? (or CAST)

Well I’ve already got a pair of shifts that are plenty good for backcountry and I have an extra pair of Jesters around. Duke PT looks real nice but it’s quite expensive. I wish I could run Cast but there is too big of BSL difference between my touring boot and my resort boot

Fair enough!

Although if you sell your shift and your Jester, plus save the money of Bindings inserts you might have the budget for Duke PT ?‍♂️

I’ve used quiver killers for a year or 2 on tele skis. Totally worth it. Really cool to swap bindings between skis and they are super durable too. I had a set of binding freedom and they work the same as quiver killer inserts

Inserts are amazing. Definitely do a test fit or 2 before drilling your skis.

Even just to reduce weight when flying, being able to remove bindings is huge and worth the insert and setup cost if you already have a drill.

I've done aprox 300 binding freedom inserts for mine & buddies skies, so far so good, so yeah love em.

they take time, thats negative

Thats a pretty good idea, inserts are pretty expensive. And if I get the tools I'm sure I'll want to put them in a lot of my skis and spend too much money on shinny threaded bois.

What boots are they and what sizes? Out of curiosity, the Pivot has 10mm of adjustability give or take so I’m curious as to how big that difference is.

My Head raptors are 293mm and my dalbello lupos are 307mm. I think that's a bit out of the range of a pivot heel

Which one is the correct one? One of those has to be either sized down or sized up

I would say I'm sized properly in 25 raptor and sized up in the 26.5 lupo. I hate boots that are too big but the lupos are what I got and at least they are comfy to walk in
