Binding hole question

Hello NS,

Quick question: Im wanting to buy a pair of second hand On3p kartels.

Now the ski has been mounted with marker griffons before for a size 28 boot (325mm)

And i would like to mount a marker squire to them in the same position for a size 27 boot (315mm)

Is this possible? would the holes line up or is there enough space in between in the old and new holes?

How do i make sure this will work before purchasing..?

1st of all, don’t put squires on those skis they’re a POS binding. 2nd, you can most likely use the existing holes if you go marker again.

Allright well in that case ill put on a Marker Griffon again the only problem then is will it fit again cause it has to be mounted for a boot 1 size smaller?

It only has one mount, it shouldn’t be an issue. Might have to drill 1 new set of holes in the worst case for either the heel or toe.

True true okay :) so you'd say go for it?

get tyrolia, sth2, or pivot. never fucking trust marker and their shitty bindings

Mhh i've never had issues with marker. Maybe its cause im lightweight (60kg) but ye they're affortable

I had squires, my squires toe piece was fully fucked and they pre released like a mf. And everyone I've known who has had markers has had problems with them. Just bought a pair of attacks and im stoked. Never buying marker again

I agree with you generally on the Attack, STH, Pivot front but you can't really judge Marker as a whole by the Squire, anyone here will tell you to avoid the Squire, it will break unless you're a kid or "don't ski the blacks"

OP would probably be fine slapping another pair of Griffins on those skis.
