looking to snags my self a pair of wets and I’m trying to make the lightest ski possible so what binding is reliable but still extremely light. I was thinking pivot 12 cause it’s lighter than the 15 and 18 but it’s still pretty kinda heavy, what are your thoughts?

I'de clamp both tips flush (surprisingly easy with vishnu's)

take a in-line sander and sand it down like 1/16th - 2/8th

U could probably chamfer the sides quite a bit too get rid of some of tht unnecessary wood

as for bindings these bad boys will serve you solid!

Don't believe me?! I've been a rental shop tech for little over a decade now, if u want the lightest skis this is the move.

trust me dude, wets feel like there's nothing on your feet, just get 15's if you can afford it since they last longer, or 12s if you dont really wanna spend a pretty penny

My personal picks are pivots or attacks. Depends on your budget though..

If your concerned about weight get 12s or 14s, but 15s really don’t weigh too much, plus vs feel light enough already

I think I’m gonna snag the pivot 12s cause there less expensive than the 15s and lighter.

Sand the top sheet down like an 1/8th or maybe even 3/16th. spray paint a few coats, just some all weather shit, then u can probably get a heavier binding and still be under the weight goal

Tyrolia attack is the answer to light

Have you ever broken a binding?

Serious answer is the Salomon/Atomic/Armada Strive 14. I'm sure some techs can weigh in on durability as they're new this year but they share a lot of design elements with the STH2 which are very durable.

Attack 13s are the other lighter alternative to Pivots.
