Binding brake quesiton

I got my first pair of newschool skis which is newface no time 172. got it used here to get a feel of what newschool is about.

now I need to get a binding. I did some research and I think I am good with DIN setting of 10. (175cm, 170lbs, type 3+ skier, boot sole length of 290mm) which leads me to get head mojo 12 bindings.

newface no time has 76 mm waist. and mojo 12 that I am trying to get has 97mm brakes (smallest i can find is 88mm) would it be troublesome if I mount 97 mm brake on this pair of ski??

also, should can I just screw in bindings on the ski or should i go to ski shop for it?

You might have some dragging with bindings if they are more than 10mm wider than the ski, I would get something closer to 80mm personally. And definitely take them to a ski shop to get mounted.
