Bike Thefts!

Richmond police set up a bunch of monitored bikes out for people to steal, and then busted them.

also we were on the news.

There was actually a really interesting piece in the newpaper last year where the reporter put a tracker on a bike and then left it unlocked and followed its progress through the city. It was awesome. People really are bad about stealing bikes here though

but actually, my bike was stolen in 8th grade before i ever got to try it out. i was so bummed
 
seriously. mine got stolen from right outside my dorm even though it was completely locked up.

karma will fuck them over though so it's all good
 
had my bike stolen in grade 12. my fault, i left it chained up outside my highschool overnight and the next day the chain was cut.

haven't owned a bike since.
 
today i was driving home from baseball and there is a back shop on the way. There where all theses bikes outside on display. This black guy walks up to one of thew bikes grabs it and rides away casually. I just watched and was like danmmmmm.
 
thank god denver has mostly kind hearted people who dont steal stuff. havent heard about bike theft since i left the northern suburbs of co
